Our goal at Asset Management Associates is to function as part of the lender's organization, working with licensed Realtors, contractors and craftsmen to profitably dispose of asset properties.

Asset Management Associates have carefully selected a team of  trained and experienced sales professionals to direct and implement the liquidation of real estate-owned properties. We do everything from BPO's to closed escrows!

No phase of property preparation, pricing, and selling has been overlooked.

Immediately, upon the lender’s acquisition of properties, the Associates network goes to work. A trained team is dispatched to the site and the careful analysis of our exclusive 24-point check list gets underway.

Properties are secured, windows are replaced where needed and attention is turned to items that are vital to the goals of a quick, profitable sale. All tradesmen are insured and licensed….every key point in preparation for sale is included on the assessment list and approved by the lender.

The Associates enjoy long standing contacts with tradesmen in every field. Even clean-up of the property, removal of waste, old vehicles or equipment is an integral part of the sales preparation program.

At the same time, sales analysis is underway, comparable sales activity in the area, listings and closings and other marketing considerations are evaluated.

The Sales Goal: Consider all expenses and mutually agreed upon rehabilitation and pricing, then move quickly to the marketplace by reaching out to buyers through proven media exposure and the cooperation of other experienced and aggressive sales organizations.

Your Team Leader

Sue Thompson, CRS, licensed in 1979, brings an impressive resume to her long career in real estate sales, organization and training. She has ranked in the top three percent of real estate salespersons since 1979 and is a Lifetime Member of the Masters Club.

Owner and manager of HomeTown Realtors, she brings thirty years of experience in new construction, property management and general real estate.

She has served on the grievance committee of the Placer County Association of Realtors, chairperson of PCAR’s public relations committee and has been a constant top performer throughout her career with three major real estate companies before founding the fast-growing and successful HomeTown organization.

Thompson is a popular contributor to the Auburn Journal’s real estate pages with her well-read Home Dollars and Sense column in the Gold Country Homes section.

Thompson is also involved in Meals on Wheels, Santa for Seniors and the founding of the Helping HomeTown Schools drive which annually contributes to local schools.

Ms. Thompson began managing and marketing property foreclosures in 1980.
