I grew up with real estate. My father and grandfather started the first advertising agency in Orange County, Perryman Advertising. After World War Two, the agency focused entirely on real estate marketing for the subdivisions that proliferated during the post-war housing boom in Southern California.
During the sixties, our family sat around the kitchen table many evenings folding and stuffing mailers and brochures for my father's latest new home project. Growing up, my mother, brother and I were frequent 'models' for various advertising pieces and brochures. My high school job was putting up the 'bootleg' signs for the weekend sales event at local subdivisions. During my college years as a Studio Arts major, I did the lay out on my father's ads, first with a 'T-square' and later, with a computer.
After spending over twenty years in the health profession as a successful practitioner and businessperson, I have returned to real estate as the broker for HomeTown. My partner, Sue Thompson, General Manager and head of sales training, is our source of extensive real estate experience and knowledge; I lend my talents in marketing and public relations. My father is still our marketing advisor and the creative head of our public relations team.
I believe that we have some of the best-trained, service oriented agents in our profession. Our agents know real estate through their extensive, on going training, and of course, 'We Know Your HomeTown.'
