Formally of the Bay Area, I understand the value of a quieter lifestyle. My family and I “headed for the hills” in 1993, the first newspaper I picked up had the cover story: “New Stop Sign at Bennett St.” We knew we were in the right place…the previous week there had been several deaths and a bank robbery reported in my former local paper. The Foothills are a wonderful place to call home.
